CB Radio General Lee Review
The CB Radio General Lee is a classic vehicle radio with two input jacks, a +10KHz switch, and a frequency counter jack. It uses a six-digit Ranger Frequency Counter FC347. The heat-sink design keeps the radio cool even when in use. The general lee is a dual-final transistor radio with two IRF-520 Mosfet transistors. The peak output power is forty to fifty watts.
The General Lee has a few operator-friendly features that make it ideal for traveling. Its built-in microphone is easy to use and comes with a battery and power cord. The Connex 3300HP has been around for years, but the General is a recent addition to this line. It’s a great choice for travelers looking for a durable, portable 10-meter radio. The General Lee Radio uses blue LEDs to give it a nice glow. This color is popular with truckers, but some people don’t prefer the blue light of some radios. This glow is pleasing for most operators. General Lee’s power is also on par with the Connex 3300HP, which has dropped in sales because of a side-mount microphone plug. The General Lee, however, is a powerful radio with a good talkback volume. It also comes with a -10KHz switch, which gives you access to in-between frequencies. You can even use a frequency counter with the General Lee.
