You can either use your car battery or a cigarette plug to provide the necessary power to your CB.
If you are rewiring your car’s electrical system, you will need to place the CB radio power cable before the chassis and firewall of the vehicle. This is because a cigarette plug can drain the battery very quickly. If you are connecting your cigarette plug to the battery, you must connect the black and red wires first. The red wire should connect to the positive side of the battery while the black wire should be connected to the negative side of the car.
