Many of you know us as a source for many hard to find Browning, Tram and Cobra parts and we are glad to add Galaxy DX , Ranger and Connex radio parts to our inventory with over 1500 parts now listed and more on the way. 　　 You are purchasing one Dual Final experimental conversion for Galaxy DX959 with single MOSFET. You will be adding one MOSEFT final. May be use on other models that use the EPT069610Z main board and similar main boards with minor changes. These instructions are written with the tech in mind. Be sure you understand these instruction and other changes that may be needed before attempting to use. 　 These are just to be used as a general guideline. Other parts and changes may be needed. 　 1. Remove top and bottom cover. 　 2. Remove ID Plate from rear of radio and screw holding driver and final saving screws and insulators. 　 3. Hold heatsink from kit to the rear of radio and align driver and final screws into heatsink with insulators in place. You may have to reposition driver and final to get them aligned. Installed heatsink screws furnished with kit and tighten both heatsink and final and driver screws. 　 4.　 Install MOSFET with insulators provided.　 Use heat sink compound (Not provided) as you normally would. 　 5. Install Zener diode from kit into D91. (Note it goes reverse than the drawing on the PC board). 　 6. Remove C210 and install caps .0015 (152) into C209 and C210. 　 7. Install caps .1 (104) in C211 and C212 　 8. Install 100K pot into VR11 　 9 Install 47K ½ resistor in R243 　 10. Install jumper into J91 　 11. Install 1 K resistor into L-34 　 12. Change L35 to the 4 turn inductor from kit. 　 13. Set Bias on both finals to 3.6 volts. 　　　　　　 Alabama resident’s to add 4% sales tax.
